PROGETTO ESECUTIVO: Miglioramento sismico di un edificio residenziale in cemento armato presso L'Aquila.

Analisi dinamica lineare per miglioramento sismico di un edificio residenziale in cemento armato presso L'Aquila. Gli interventi proposti per passare da da un indice di vulnerabilità pari a 0.1 ag a 0.6 ag, sono stati:

  • Aumento di sezione di tutti i pilastri per carenze strutturali a tagli e flessione;
  • Aumento di sezione delle fondazioni per carenze strutturali a flessione;
  • Aumeto di sezione delle travi del primo piano per carenze strutturali a flessione e taglio;
  • Posa di fibre di carbonio a flessione e taglio su alcune travi che presentano crenze strutturali.

Modal linear analysis in order to improve seismic behavior of reinforced concrete building in L’Aquila (after the 9th April 2009 earthquake).

The proposed interventions to switch from a vulnerability index of 0.1 g to 0.6 g, were:

  • Increasing cross-section of all the columns for structural deficiencies in shear and bending;
  •  Increasing cross-section of the foundations for structural deficiencies in bending;
  • Increasing cross-section of the beams of the first floor structural deficiencies in bending and shear;
  • Installing carbon fibers on some beams that have structural deficiences in bending and shear.
